Cute & Simple Valentine’s Day Outfits For Staying In And Going Out
4 Easy, Cute Outfits To Wear For Valentine’s Day
While I love cute Valentine’s Day outfits, I don’t typically go for the stuff with obvious Valentine’s Day vibes because I hate the idea of buying something for one day and then not really getting any use out of afterwards. If the hubs and I are able to get away from the babies for a few hours, I’ll usually pick something I already own and jazz it up with some good accessories.

Cute Valentine’s Day Outfits For Staying In
I fell in love with this sweet tee from Good & Well Boutique last year. It’s definitely full-on Valentine’s Day, but I couldn’t resist! Plus, I’ve found that LOVE is pretty appropriate to wear year-round, so I’ve gotten away with wearing it outside of the holiday.
If you follow me on Instagram, (first of all, thank you!) you might be familiar with these Old Navy beauties. This style, called the OG Straight, is insanely comfortable, flattering, and versatile!
If you’re ever going to wear lingerie as part of a real outfit, a cozy night in with your partner is definitely the time to do so! My cami is out of stock, but here are some sexy alternatives. It doubles nicely as a regular top paired with a comfy, Boho-inspired kimono (similar styles) and my favorite jeans(;
By the way, if you’re considering a Valentine’s Day night in, I think you’ll like my recent post on creative date night in activities. There are some fun, creative ways to spend the evening with your SO!
Going Out For Valentine’s Day?
If it’s bitterly cold where you live, you may not be in the mood for a little black dress and heels. Instead, try pairing a cute, but warm sweater (similar style) with leather pants (similar style) and a fun pair of boots!
I was gifted this beautiful floral number from one of my favorite Black-owned boutiques, Rehab Couture and instantly fell in love. I remember when maxi dresses first became super popular, and now, I feel like they’re sort of timeless. They just keep reinventing themselves from season to season, so there’s always an on-trend, fresh option. I love the flattering fit and the way this one moves when I walk.
Black and white! Another timeless trend! I’ve had this gorgeous dress for a few years and with good reason! It’s one of those perfect dresses (similar style) that can work in any season depending on the temperature. Worn here with my fave OTK boots.
