1. A Cozy Pair Of Leggings
Yes, I’m still wearing leggings this season! Not only are they super comfortable, they’re also so easy to style up when you need to get dressed quickly but still want to look cute and stylish. These from Aerie are incredibly soft, high-waisted (NO, they don’t ride down!) and they have pockets for my phone when I go on walks.
2. An Elevated Sweatshirt
Nothing surprising about sweatshirts as a Winter outfit essential, right? Pretty standard! This season’s versions are a little different, though, with elevated touches like this cute polo-style collar and the cropped length. Plus, this warm neutral is sooo good! All of that, plus the same cozy feeling of wearing a warm hug that you get from your favorite older sweatshirts.
3. A Warm, Inviting Scent
Yes, a great scent is definitely an outfit essential! Whether you’re into warm, sweet gourmands or bright fresh scents, a spritz of something special is kind of like the little cherry on top of your ice-cream sundae of an outfit.
My latest fragrance obsession? Valentino’s Donna Born In Roma Intense! With notes of Bourbon Vanilla, Amber, Jasmine, and Benzoin, it’s the perfect slightly spicy, floral scent to wear this Winter for a warm, cozy, and inviting vibe.
The 1.7oz normally retails for about $140 (thank God for my Ulta points!) but you can sometimes get it HERE for a good discount!
If you’ve ever tried this scent or you decide to pick it up, let me know in the comments how you like it!

Trying A New Perfume? 3 Things To Know!
Start with a blank canvas. Before testing a new fragrance, make sure you’re not already wearing a perfume or body spray. You want to get a feel for how a potential perfume smells on its own, not mixed with something you’re already wearing!
Don’t rub your wrists together after spraying. This “crushes the scent” and can interfere with the natural dry-down by causing the initial top notes to evaporate faster than they’re meant to. Not exactly a disaster, but you won’t get an authentic feel for how the fragrance will perform and it could disrupt the longevity of a scent as well!
Don’t rush the process. Try a few sprays and just take note of how the perfume performs throughout the day. I’ve actually gone back to Ulta a few times to try the same perfume over and over before I’m ready to commit! Still not sure? Try a travel size before diving head-first into that full size bottle!
4. Trouser-Style Leggings
You may have noticed that this season’s leggings offer a couple of different silhouettes outside of what we’re used to seeing! This was my first time trying trouser-style wide leg leggings, and I was impressed!
I will say, these are most definitely LIGHT COMPRESSION. So, they’re incredibly comfortable and easy to move around in, but they definitely don’t offer the “tummy control” that I’m used to.
However, they are moisture-wicking like my other leggings, and ever-so-slightly cropped. So, they’re great on morning walks or for yoga. They’re ALSO very well-cut and elevated enough to wear to your kid’s school event, for example.
5. A Sweatshirt To Keep You Warm AND Dry
This is truly one of my favorite new sweatshirts! It’s made of a comfy and soft moisture-wicking fabric, so it keeps me comfortable and warm on my walks. Plus, it’s another double-duty piece! I chose this gorgeous seasonal deep green, so it’s easy to style up with a great pair of 90s straight jeans and my go-to jewelry.
6. This Cozy “Coatigan”
Tired of the same old cardigan and t-shirt combo? Instead, try a longer “coatigan” like this one. It’s thicker than a regular cardigan, so it makes a gorgeous outer layer on cooler days. And I think the length adds interest to an otherwise simple outfit. I went with this cream pattern, but it comes in a few other colorways as well!
7. Soft Knit Pants
Another great double-duty Winter outfit essential! I love to wear mine around the house with an equally warm and cozy sweatshirt.
They’re also so easy to style up with a cute top, Chelsea boots, and a warm outer layer when it’s time to head out. I especially love the pockets and “faux tailoring” around the waist. These simple, but effective, details keep them from looking too “pajama like”.
