Black-woman owned and based in New York. Owner, Auzerais Bellamy, is a trained pastry chef with a talent for whipping up beautiful, delicious blondies and cakes to soothe the sweetest of teeth!

MUST TRY: “Box of Chocolates” Valentine’s Day Blondies with four yummy blondie flavors including Mocha and Cheesecake.

Maya’s Cookies

Based in San Diego and San Marco, California. Known for their chewy, gourmet Vegan cookies that just may be yummy enough to convert you from traditional treats.

MUST TRY: White Chocolate Espresso Cookies, inspired by Maya’s trips out to Seattle where she experienced “coffee culture” firsthand.

Partake

Not technically a traditional bakery, but they ARE known for their delicious gluten-free cookies nationwide. Pop into your local Target to see their latest offerings.

MUST TRY: Gluten Free Vegan Chewy Lemon Cookies, perfect to grab for a snack the next time you’re craving a little something sweet.

The Little Fat Girl

Based in Harlem, New York. Known for their custom cakes and delicious, moist brownies, said to be made for “people who don’t like brownies”. Vegan options available!

MUST TRY: The Little Fat Brownie Box, ESPECIALLY if you’re not a brownie lover. Might as well accept the challenge, right?

After growing up watching her mom, grandma and aunts whipping up home-baked goodness in their own kitchens, owner, Tiffany, was inspired to create Sweet Mae’s Cookies.

MUST TRY: Bourbon Caramel Pecan 4 ct., for the perfect mix of a little something sweet and a little something naughty!

Kessler Baking Studio

Based in Dallas, Texas. Owner, Clyde Greenhouse is known on IG as the “bowtie baker” and *also* for his ridiculously tasty blondies, brownies, shortbread cookies, and more.

MUST TRY: Pecan Shortbread Cookies 6 Pk, charmingly shaped like the state of Texas.

Mr. Tod’s

Based in Patterson, New Jersey and featured in Oprah Magazine and on The Food Network. Owner, Tod Wilson learned to bake watching his talented godfather. He created Mr. Tod’s Pie Factory in 2002, and, today, they’re known for their delicious cheesecakes and mini pies and cobblers. Big enough to share with someone special, yet small enough to keep to yourself if the spirit moves!

MUST TRY: New York Style Cheesecake Sampler, for that unique style cheesecake you just can’t get anywhere else.

Cookie Society

Based in Frisco, Texas. Known for their gigantic cookies (twice as big as a normal-sized cookie) with crispy edges and a delicious, chewy center.

Based in Teaneck, New Jersey. Their tagline is “so good, it saved our home!” because owner, Angela Logan, started baking her apple cakes to avoid foreclosure and IT WORKED! We love to see it! Ps. Ships to Canada too!

MUST TRY: The Original Mortgage Apple Cake, of course! I *have* to taste the cake that was good enough to take care of the mortgage!

Luxury Comfort Treats

Based in Santa Clarita, California. Founded during the pandemic to bring back joy and a little laughter at a time when many of us needed it the most. Known for their alcohol-infused popcorn made with all-natural ingredients including water-based food coloring.
